At Titrant Technical Consulting (TTC), we bring over a decade of experience in chemical engineering, advanced laboratory analysis , and technical consulting for the energy sector. Our expertise spans fluid formulation, cement blend design, and specialty chemical development, with a proven track record supporting drilling, completions, stimulation, fracturing and remediation operations across Western Canada.

Our founder and CTO, Thomas Sabastian, has a strong technical foundation, with a Chemical Engineering Technology diploma from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and is a Certified Engineering Technologist with the Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta (ASET). He is also currently pursuing an MBA with Athabasca University, further strengthening his ability to integrate technical expertise with strategic business insights. He has led multidisciplinary lab teams, developed new chemical products from concept to commercialization, and partnered directly with energy operators and service providers to solve complex field challenges. His background includes senior technical roles with Halliburton, STEP Energy Services, Di-Corp, Bureau Veritas, and Hybrid Chemical Technologies, where he managed client projects, ensured regulatory compliance, and delivered actionable insights through both laboratory analysis and business intelligence analytics.

Today, TTC leverages this deep technical foundation to provide specialized consulting, technical document authoring, business intelligence analytics and professional mentoring, enabling our clients to make informed decisions and optimize operational performance.
